They say to plant yourself where you’re most passionate. Well, my three main passions are:
1. The Trinity
2. Children
3. Writing
My Gamma Series of children’s books have been a godsend because they combine ALL THREE passions! I have the privilege to share the Lord’s teachings with precious children (including my own grandchildren) by expressing my creativity. What a gift!
Psalm 37:4-5
“Delight thyself also in the LORD, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
Ephesians 3:20
“Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
Educated with a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child Psychology from Purdue University, I use my training and life experiences to better connect with children today: To give them hope. To give them a positive outlook. To teach them the principles for living a worthy and productive life.
I was blessed by my wonderful husband for 48 years. I am honored to do life with my four incredible grown daughters and eight amazing grandchildren. Surrounded by friends and family in Michigan, I often engage in Bible studies, reading, listening to music, luncheons, long walks, bike rides, and traveling.
Always passionate about words, numbers, colors, and design, my children’s books are a legacy I’m leaving to my grandchildren and hopefully a memorable treasure to others.
Meet the Author.
She has more stories to share.
Patricia Roedel is a self proclaimed logophile and has been for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Psychology, taking as many child-related classes as her schedule allowed. So, it’s no surprise she eventually published books for children. She would even go so far as to call her Gamma Series “adult children’s books.” These books are adventurous, whimsical and allegorical with a little “Take Away” package at the end. The books are meant to stimulate interactions, questions and discussions. She creatively weaves her imagination into her storytelling. Patricia can talk to anyone, puts her faith first, stays active and continues to enjoy what each day brings. She invites you to dive into these delightful adventures.
